Helping students become flourishing scholars!
At Flourishing Scholars we use positive academic coaching, an approach to academic success that teaches students both the well-being skills and the academic skills needed to thrive in high school and college.
We offer a complimentary 50-minute initial consultation to discuss your student's academic goals. After this initial meeting, we follow up with you to recommend an appropriate service for their needs.
We are available to coach students toward academic success. Our coaching is grounded in positive education, a scientific approach to learning that leads students to greater happiness and improved academic performance.
We offer college placement services that include evaluating the student's academic and extracurricular record, establishing reachable goals, and advising the student throughout the application process. Our approach examines both academic and psychological fit between the student and potential colleges.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
A positive academic coach teaches the well-being skills and academic skills needed to thrive in high school and college. A positive academic coach assess and helps develop academic goals, motivation, character strengths, study habits, time management practices, and other resources and skills essential for academic success. A positive academic coach will also help students and parents plan a pathway to college admission and graduation.
While we can step in to help a student at any point in their academic journey, the ideal time to begin positive academic coaching is during your student's eighth grade.
